Back to school: DIY notebook collage

          Hey guys, so today we have another DIY. The two of us decided that since we are heading back to school in a couple days we would do a back to school series, so here's part one! I was on tumblr and I saw a picture of a notebook with a collage on the front so I decided to recreate it since normal spiral notebooks look so unattractive, especially the graphing notebooks. The project is pretty self explanatory, but here it is anyway!                                                                                                                             ~Sydney

             
                                                                                          

Supplies

Any notebook 

Glue gun & glue sticks

Hole punch

Blank sheet of paper

Tape (witch I didn't show but I will explain)

Choose a bunch of little pictures that you think will go well together. I just went through all the pictures I have reposted on my tumblr and printed the smaller ones.

Cut out the pictures

Now I didnt show this step but it's pretty basic. So I just took a blank sheet of paper and cut it to fit the notebook cover (that is where I used the tape to keep the paper in place while I cut it out), then I traced where the holes were so it would fit inside my binder and punched them out!

I layed it out so I could piece everything into place, then I used my glue gun to put it all together, and there you go!

Summer to Fall transition

So in our last post we did a DIY on a Guns N Roses tank top and this post is going to be some outfits to go with those shirts. As it's late August the weather is beginning to change we're each showing two looks.  One for summer and one for fall.

Guns N Roses Shirt DIY

Well for our first post since changing the blog we decided to do a DIY. We've been looking for Guns N Roses tee shirts for the longest time, so when we found these at Forever 21 we had to buy them.  The only problem was that the only size they had was a large and Hannah's usually an extra small.

 Here's the shirt before.

 First we cut it a little shorter.

 Next we cut the sides so that we could cut it to fit a little tighter.

Then we made about an inch long slit on both sides a couple centimeters apart.

Next we tied them together.

 We did the same to the sleeves because they were a bit to long.

 Here's the finished look.

Blog change

Hey guys, we just wanted to let you know before hand that we are going to be making some changes to the blog. We decided that we wanted to do more than just nail art, so we're expanding to an "everything blog". We plan on doing DIY's, fashion, beauty, random posts and we will continue to do nail designs. Since 'Pretty Polish Inc.' doesn't really suite all of those topics we want to cover, we plan on changing the name. We are not completely sure what we are changing it to yet but we will probably do a post after we change it just to let you guys know. If you guys have any requests on projects you would like to see us do, please let us know in the comments below.
