Boots: Cathy Jean

 Formal:

   Sweater: Old Navy

Thanksgiving 2013 OOTD

Happy thanksgiving everyone! We hope you had a great day full of overheating and recognizing what you are thankful for. Since Thanksgiving outfits can typically be hard to plan and it's no fun to be uncomfortable after eating way to much, so we decided to share our comfortable but cute clothes with you!

Hannah's outfit:

 Shorts: Forever 21
Belt: Levi's
Tights: Target
Scarf: H&M
Lipstick: "Rebel" by Mac
I can't remember where I got the shirt But it's one of my favorites.
And of course I had to include a picture of my dog Mocha being a cutie pie.
This year I'm lucky enough to have so much to be thankful for it could really take up a whole post of its own. I'm thankful for my amazing family, outstanding friends and of course you wonderful followers. I hope you all had a great thanksgiving!

Sydney's outfit:

Sweater: Forever 21
Scarf: Cost Plus (I believe)
Jeggings: American Eagle
Socks: Old Navy
Boots: Target
Nail Polish: 'Casino Royal' with 'Glitzerland' and 'Black Onyx' all by OPI

Being that Hannah and myself are pretty much the same person, we both thought of including a picture of our dogs. Well this isn't my dog, but I have so many animals I don't even know anymore. This is my aunts dog Sonny/Sunny (I have no idea how to spell her name) who actually smiles, it's so cute.

"I'm thankful for my wonderful friends and family, even though my family drives me insane, I still love them and couldn't even imagine how different my life would be without them. I'm also so greatful to be healthy and have a roof over my head along with things that I probably don't need. Holla to my sibblings to taking these pictures for me, they da bomb even though they suck at taking pictures and are probably never going to read this."

50's and 60's makeup looks

Today We have our beauty post! Sydney and I did this about a week ago and finally got around to posting. We started school a couple of weeks ago and just haven't had as much time for posting. We found a bunch of inspiration for this on Pintrest and decided to try it out so here ya go!

Sydney's look was 50's inspired. To achieve this look she added a cat eye to neutral eyeshadow and a bold lip.
For her hair she pulled it back into a medium ponytail and pinned her bangs back with a little volume. She completed the look with a white bandana.
Hannah's look was inspired by the 60's. For her makeup she just did bold brows with thick eyeliner and a light eyeshadow.
To do a modern 60's-do she teased the hair on the crown of her head and pulled the rest into a low pony. To make the back of your head look more volumized slick your bangs back and pin them with a bobby pin.

Current obsession

Today's current obsession is a neon orange polish by Finger Paints called "Atomic Orange".

The color orange usually goes well with blue so I figured because its such a neon orange it would look good with a dark blue.

The blue I used I've already done a current obsession on. It's OPI's "Eurso Euro"

Fall Geometric Nails

Hey girls, I've been wanting to do another nail design to keep everyone in mind that we are still doing nail designs. Please keep in mind that my black striper is almost completely dried out and the brush is all messed up also but I did my best, enjoy!                                                                                                       -Sydney

 _________________________________________________________

To start off, I just painted the three of my fingers, along with half of my thumb 'Don't pretzel my buttons' by OPI. I then painted the other half of my thumb nail and my middle finger 'Hot and spicy' by OPI.

Thumb: I made a line between the two colors with my black striper.
Middle: I tapped it off so I could easily paint a triangle with my nude color.
Ring: I used my striper to section off my nail down the middle
Pinky: I again taped my nail off so I could make a triangle with my orange color then I messily put blue inside it and lined the blue with my black striper

 And here's the final product!

Back to school: DIY notebook collage

Hey guys, so today we have another DIY. The two of us decided that since we are heading back to school in a couple days we would do a back to school series, so here's part one! I was on tumblr and I saw a picture of a notebook with a collage on the front so I decided to recreate it since normal spiral notebooks look so unattractive, especially the graphing notebooks. The project is pretty self explanatory, but here it is anyway!                                                                                                                             ~Sydney

Supplies
Any notebook
Glue gun & glue sticks
Hole punch
Blank sheet of paper
Tape (witch I didn't show but I will explain)

Choose a bunch of little pictures that you think will go well together. I just went through all the pictures I have reposted on my tumblr and printed the smaller ones.

Cut out the pictures

Now I didnt show this step but it's pretty basic. So I just took a blank sheet of paper and cut it to fit the notebook cover (that is where I used the tape to keep the paper in place while I cut it out), then I traced where the holes were so it would fit inside my binder and punched them out!

I layed it out so I could piece everything into place, then I used my glue gun to put it all together, and there you go!
