KKCenterhk Product reviews!!!

We've had these products for forever but just haven't gotten around to reviewing them.  We deeply apologize both for the delay and for our absence.  We've finally gotten the chance to get together and do them!!!  We are grateful for the sponsorship from kkcenterhk.  :-)  They're a beauty-supply website that has everything from Wigs to nail polish!!!  We have quite a few pictures and products, so we'll get started!!!

The first product is blue/purple micro-beads.  You can purchase them here, or by going to kkcenterhk's web site linked at the bottom of this post, with the code: DRN383
Here we did the micro-beads over Sephora by OPI's "Going nude, eh?" They are easy to apply and look REALLY cool!!! *Note: Don't use a top coat for any of these products because it washes out the color.
Next, is a hot pink micro-beads.  You can purchase them here, or by going to kkcenterhk's web site linked at the bottom of this post, with the code: DRN386

Next, is a rainbow mixture of micro beads.  You can purchase them here, or by going to kkcenterhk's web site linked at the bottom of this post, with the code: DRN386

Moving on, we have a bright blue glitter that's really pretty!!! You can purchase it by clicking here, or by going to kkcenterhk's web site linked at the bottom of this post, with the code: B0704
We put it over OPI's "Tomorrow never dies" which is about the same color.  It didn't turn out as great as we had hoped but th glitter itself is beautiful.
And last but not least, we have a great orange glitter with multiple sizes. You can purchase it here or by going to kkcenterhk's web site linked at the bottom of this post, with the code: LB401
It went on a little lumpy but we're pretty sure that was because of our application.  The color is really pretty and perfect for fall!!!

KKcenterhk has supplied us with a coupon code special just for you guys!!!

OPI "Man With The Golden Gun" Swatch/mini review!!!

As Sydney and I have been posting lately, we could not wait to get our hands on this amazing polish put out with OPI's Skyfall collection in honor of 50 years of 007 and the new movie coming out soon.  We had a VERY difficult time getting at least one, but after signing up on multiple ordering lists through multiple beauty supply's we finally got one!  OPI is being really unfair and apparently only sent like literally one polish to the Pacific North West.  Sadly there are two of us and I could only find one bottle, I'm stuck with guilt every time I use it...But I can share pictures!!!  It's BEAUTIFUL!!!  It has a somewhat thin amount of REAL 18k gold flakes, because my mom is a licensed beautician she got it for half price at $15 when normally it is $30.  I'm not sure if OPI will eventually send more or what what's gonna happen but I sure hope that more dedicated OPI fans can eventually get there hands on this polish.  Well I took quite a few pictures so let's get started!!!

5.  Apply a matte top coat and allow to dry.
6.  Using the toothpick or dotting tool, paint on little blood drops coming from the end of the nail.

gold plastic bag method.

Ok so Finally I promised you a design today and you're going to get one!  :)  There are really only two things polish-wise that I REALLY can't wait for this fall.  One is of course Halloween so I can do some Halloween designs, and the other is definitely OPI's Skyfall collection coming this fall!!!

So today's design is inspired by the star of the collection... "Man With the Golden Gun" Which is a gorgeous 18 karat gold leaf top coat.  Today's manicure is inspired by the swatch show below:

Here is my attempt at a similar effect however I forgot my purple is way darker then it looks in the bottle, and especially darker in a picture.

Supplies:
-A dark purple, a color even lighter than the one I used would be best because for the most part mine looks black. (I used OPI's "Siberian Nights")
-A gold (I used OPI's "Symphony in Gold")
-A base and top coat.
-And a some cling wrap (Amount doesn't really matter I used the full width of it but just a few inches long.

1. Apply a base coat and allow to dry.

2. Paint all of your nails the purple color.  Before moving on be sure that this is completely dry.
3. Roll up your cling wrap.  Be sure that it's "even" on top so you don't only get one line of gold.  (If anyone has suggestions on better wording please comment and I'd be glad to change It I just don't really know how to word it.)
4. With a polish brush that isn't to heavy with the gold polish paint on the top of the cling wrap.
5. While the gold is still wet dab the cling wrap on your nails but be sure to test it on paper first so you don't just cover up all of your base color.  Also be gentle so that again you don't cover your base color completely.
6.  Finish with a top coat to seal in the color.

Nail Polish :)

Today I have a poem for you written by a friend of the blog, Taylor Wilhoit.  :)  Oh and P.S.  I'm planning on posting a design later today!!!  :)

Nail Polish

By: Taylor Wilhoit

I eat cherries and as I chew,
I paint my nails neon blue.
Or red, or pink, or green, too.
I never paint my nails with glue
That's just ew.
When I was home with the flu
I painted my nails midnight blue,
Or like the zebra from the zoo.
Whenever I make stew,
Or wash my hair with shampoo,
I see my nails and shout woo-hoo!
Want to know my favorite color, you?
It's purple.

Oh and P.S.  I'm planning on posting a design later today!!!  :)
